The barn, manege and stables are situated within 17 acres of grassland, which means plenty of year-round, ragwort free grazing. The property is situated with excellent access to the local bridleway network and we are only 4 miles from the South Downs Way National Trail. Our aim is to provide quality, affordable accommodation for your horse, and that is why we are now a BHS Approved Livery Yard. We have limited the number of horses and ponies at our yard so that we do not overgraze the paddocks.
If you would like to make an appointment to view our yard then please contact us here. Please let us know what your needs and questions are, we will be more than happy to help.
We have a wide variety of paddocks at Hazelbank. They range from a 0.2 acre starvation paddock (B1) to a 1.4 acre paddock (D2) suitable for 2 or 3 horses if owners want their horses to live in a small herd. All paddocks have a surfaced track to the gateway, a galvanised mains water trough and at least one large tree to provide shelter in the winter and shade in the summer (many also have a hedge to provide additional protection).
